TAKS Out-of-School/Out-of-District and TAAS Out-of-School Registration

What is OOS/OOD Registration?

Out-of-school (OOS) and out-of-district (OOD) examinees can use our online registration system to register for TAKS OOS and OOD tests and TAAS OOS tests via the Internet. Students without internet access may still submit registrations using the paper process.

Who should register for TAKS OOS/OOD testing?

TAKS OOS/OOD testing is for:

  • individuals who are no longer enrolled in school, or
  • individuals who are enrolled in school but are unable to test at their home district's designated test site.

How do I register for TAKS OOS/OOD testing?

To register, complete our online TAKS OOS/OOD registration form and submit it online for processing.

Exit level TAKS students may register during the registration period  for the following test administrations:

  • March TAKS Exit Level Retest
  • April TAKS Exit Level Retest (on-site registration only)
  • July TAKS Exit Level Retest
  • October TAKS Exit Level Retest

Exit level TAAS examinees may register during the registration period for the following test administrations:
